What is supervision?
Supervision is an advanced professional learning process where the client and the supervisor join their intellectual horizons to reflect on the client and his/her client, or the case or predicament, in their systemic context. Supervision takes place in a co-creative, emotionally supportive and intellectually enriching setting. It serves to develop the client’s professional identity and to offer more effective help to the client’s client or organisation.
Who is this for?
One-on-one supervision based on a physis approach is the appropriate form for you if you wish to benefit on a number of levels at once:
- add to your toolkit for understanding and resolving client issues in effective and systemically sustainable ways
- see physis theory in action and reap its benefits directly in your practice
- receive direct personal attention to help elaborate, maintain and develop your professional identity in changing times and changing contexts
- receive targeted assistance with a particular case or client/organisation.
All of this is delivered in the spirit of all the classic values of supervision – supporting you as a person and a professional, offering you a safe and inspiring space for reflection on yourself, your predicament and working context in a non-judgemental, emotionally nourishing and intellectually enriching setting.
